Octorinos...

I've been working on a Greek Fishing themed story with quite the cast of characters for a little while now.  It involves a village and it's battle against vengeful Octopuses. Here's a sampling of some of the designs I've been playing around with.  Story content will be up soon...I'm still tweaking it a bit.  Yassou!

...no evil

  I've been designing some Greek inspired characters for a personal project and was inspired by a statue of the Mystic Monkeys that portray the "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" and I thought how fun would it be to see three Yiayias doing this?!

 This was a fun piece to work on and I hope you enjoy these little ladies.

SF Greek Festival - Souvenir Booklet Art

After designing Muni Ads for my Church's Greek Festival, I began to design the souvenir booklet cover art.  The whole campaign this year stressed that it was "San Francisco's ONLY Greek Festival" so I really wanted to have the city of San Francisco be visible and apparent in the cover art, which I implemented with the city skyline.

This was another great experience and a joy to work on.  I created the cover art in Photoshop.

Muni Ads!!

I had the wonderful opportunity of helping my Church, the Annunciation Cathedral Greek Orthodox church in San Francisco with the annual Greek Festival!  I helped out in the publicity dept. and created these ads that were featured on over 50 MUNI buses throughout San Francisco for the majority of the month of August through September.  I used Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to make this ad and had a blast making it.

Unfortunately, when I made many visits to the city,while the ads were up, I was unable to find any Muni buses! I guess I just have bad timing, but at least some friends and family were able to see them for me.

I'm very grateful for this opportunity, to have my work displayed throughout SF...I just wish I was able to see these in person though HAHA!

Princess Doofalina

Here are my character designs for a story I've been developing about a "Not-so-pretty" Princess, named Doofalina. She is a recluse, neglected by her family and spends her many lonely hours creating and playing with her many puppets...
